Every year Valentine In The Morning and 1043MYfm team up with Living Spaces to give a teachers' lounge in Los Angeles a well-deserved makeover.
Through a nomination and voting process on our website, one lucky school will receive the opportunity to completely re-furnish their staff lounge area.
Last year in 2017, Ramona Elementary School in Alhambra, California pulled through in voting and took the grand prize! They decked out their lounge with $5,000 worth of furniture and completely transformed the area into a tranquil, calm place to relax on breaks.
Along with this thoughtful message, they sent along some photos of their revamped space. See below!
We are very grateful for the opportunity to have been able to revamp our space and we wanted you to see what you helped us accomplish! Our lounge team worked hard to be able to use the money given to us in the most resourceful way. We were able to purchase three beautiful tables with nice comfy chairs, two couches and pillows to decorate them with, a coffee table, a rug, a desk, and a few little decorative and storage items. That along with our lounge committees creativity and a few other resources to put some finishing touches, got us the happy place we have below. 😊 Thank you again! We are very thankful and love our space!
