Can A Weekly Run Help You Live Longer?

A brisk run once a week could help you stay alive a little longer.

There is new research saying that any amount of running could help cut the risk of early death by 27 percent. 

Running has also lowered the cases of death by cancer and heart disease.

While running might not be good for everyone, staying active is. The recommendation is for people 16 years to 64 years old to get at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise in each week.

Even 50 minutes of running once a week at a pace of 6 miles per hour is considered proactive.
