WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson, the father of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, has died at the age of 75.
Born Wayde Bowles, Johnson began his pro wrestling carer way back in the 1960's with the National Wrestling Alliance. He didn't become popular with wrestling fans until he joined the WWF, which later became WWE in 1982.
As a member of the Soul Patrol, he and Tony Atlas won the Tag Team Championship in 1983, the first African-American team to do so. He retired in 1991, but kept his legacy alive by training his son to continue in his footsteps.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
