NBA players are completing the season will have the option to now wear "smart rings" that detect the symptoms of COVID-19.
These rings were manufactured by Oura, measure temperature, heart rate and respiratory functions which as we all know can lead as signs to coronavirus. The company states that the rings will be able to predict the symptoms up to three days in advance with a 90% accuracy and all players will be given the option to wear them.
The league is also looking into software that could allow a player or employee to display green or red depending on their health status.
