Have you stayed at a hotel during the pandemic?
Certain tips can help this be less stressful if you are looking for a vacation. According to the American Hotel and Lodging Association, they just released a checklist for guests to follow if they plan on spending time at a hotel or a resort during this time.
Wearing a mask or a face covering and remembering to maintain 6 feet apart is extremely important especially when inside public areas of the hotel. There will also be contact less options like payment, check-in and even room service available to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
They suggest that room service only be used if needed and not all the time. It's also suggested to bring your own disinfecting wipes to wipe down areas that may concern you such as the telephones, remotes and doorknobs.
