It's been reported that champagne sales have been plummeting this year. Since there have been fewer gatherings, that means people aren't celebrating that often together... so why need to buy any champagne?!
The global champagne industry is now down by $2 billion dollars in sales this year and the deficit is the worse than The Great Depression.
According to experts, they believe that over 100 million bottles of champagne will go unsold in cellars by this end of this year.
