Well...as if the past 6 months of this virus hasn't been tough enough on oh EVERYBODY!!! Now...we sadly have to say goodbye to some favorite comfort food items at our beloved Taco Bell...I know...'this too shall pass'...BUT THE MEXICAN PIZZA??!!!😭😭😭 With most fast food places, ESP in CA only allowed to be open for drive-thru, delivery & pick up...many places are having to 'streamline' their menu's and cut costs...for Taco Bell...this already meant no Nachos Supreme, Spicy Potato Soft Tacos, Cheesy Fiesa Potatoes, Spicy Tostadas, the 7 Layer Buritto AND nooooooooooow the Mexican PIZZA???!! 😭😭😭 Plus...they are swapping out their pico de gallo for fresh diced tomatoes (fine) BUT removing their shredded chicken protein option...thus, no more Shredded Chicken Soft Taco's, Shredded Chicken Burritos and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melts🙁 I hope I got all this right ;/ We have until Nov 5th to SAY OUR GOODBYE'S people!!
The company said part of the reason for removing the Mexican Pizza is because the packaging alone accounts for over 7 MILLION POUNDS of paperboard material per year...so...reducing the 'carbon footprint' was a motivator too ;/ Weeeeeeeee get it...I can still BE IN MOURNING for a hot sec tho ;/ If its ANY consulation...we hear TB will welcoming a few NEW items on D-DAY Nov 5th...a Dragonfruit Freeze beverage and the Chicken Chipotle Melt...ok...off to the drive thru!! They really need to launch an emotional support hotline with these BIG CHANGES...just sayin!
