If you stop by McDonald's frequently, you should be aware that they are facing a paper bag shortage currently.
It's caused by dine-in customers that are receiving their food in paper bags instead of using the paper tray.The shortage isn't terrible, but customers may have to expect getting their dine-in orders on trays again.
A company memo stated "Many new crew members have never had to deal with trays before.The transition to using trays has been slower, more difficult because we haven't done it in so long."
