Beverly Hills Hotel Puts A $1,900 Anniversary Salad On Menu

I meeeeeeean I'm all for eating healthy but NOT at the expense of my ENTIRE paycheck in one sitting! 😱🤢 A very famous salad on the menu at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, just got REEEEEALLY EXPENSIVE! But its all for the sake of a little 110th anniversary. The hotel's popular McCarthy salad will be upgraded in taste AND price AND with proceeds going to help a charity as well. Guests can order the anniversary special, of the McCarthy salad from June til December of this year for the lavish price of $1,912 dollars! In homage to the year they opened, yep 1912. A portion of the proceeds will go to the LA Conservancy. The reimagined dish will have extra touches like being served with white gloves and will feature the likes of lobster, caviar and gold flakes...not to mention a bottle of Dom Perignon. Yum! Also, the 'new' salad will arrive in a commemorative bowl made specially by French porcelain house Bernardaud, with a design inspired by the hotel's iconic Martinique banana leaf wallpaper print. (and yes, its yours to take home!)

According to Traveller, The McCarthy salad was named after one of the hotel's former frequent guests, polo player Neil McCarthy, who the hotel claims one day requested the very specific list of ingredients for a salad while visiting the Polo Lounge. The dish has been a signature of the hotel since. At $1,912, the upgraded McCarthy salad may be a contender for the world's most expensive.

Anyone wanna get a group together and go split one? Me, you and like a 100 others? ha.
