Swifties, are you ready for it? The University of Texas at Austin is offering a course on Taylor Swift this coming school year.
The new course is called “Literary Contests and Contexts — The Taylor Swift Songbook” and will provide students with an “introduction to literary studies and research methods” using the songwriting of Taylor Swift, according to a Facebook post by UT’s English department.
The class will be available to those who are first-year undergrads in the Liberal Arts Honors program and will be taught by Elizabeth Scala. The class will focus on the songbook of Taylor Swift and will be called "Literary Contests and Contexts -- The Taylor Swift Songbook." Head to USA Today for more.
