Owning a home is an overwhelming process especially during this time and in Southern California. Homes 4 Families, a local organization, is helping out veterans by matching 30%-40% of their family's household income to make the dream of owning a home possible.
"Veterans have earned this right by their service, their families have earned this right because they've served too while their loved one has been away at war," said Homes 4 Families CEO Donna Deutchman.
According to ABC 7, construction is in the process of heading into Phase 2 of the Palmdale development. The organization was founded back in 2008 and since then they've helped over 400 low-income families to be able to own a home of their own. Head to Homes4Families.org to learn more about this program.
