It Just Got Easier To Get Stars On The Starbucks App

If you're obsessed with Starbucks, chances are you have their app on your phone to rack up those gold stars to get a free drink or food item!

Well now, the company is giving you even more chances to rack up stars!

Starbucks just announced that they are expanding the way to earn stars down the grocery aisle!

So if you buy K-cups, bottled Frappuccinos, or canned Doubleshot energy drinks, you can add them to your account and use them to get free drinks down the road.

However, the promotion isn't yet open for people who buy bags of coffee beans or VIA packs.

To use their new feature, you can just buy the products you normally do, then log into your Starbucks Rewards account and upload the receipt from your local grocery store.

You can also send the receipt via text message or email. You have 60 days after your purchase to upload the receipt, and Starbucks will add the stars to your account around three days after you send it to them.

Just like normal stars work you'll earn two stars for every $1 spent, and you need 125 stars to get a free drink or food item at a local store.

Be sure to check out the Starbucks' website to see which products qualify.
