Chloë Grace Moretz 'Appalled' By Her New Film's Body-Shaming Ad

Actress Chloë Grace Moretz recently spoke out about her new movie poster that has been gaining backlash. The ad has a body-shaming tone.

Plus-size model and body image activist Tess Holliday drew Moretz attention toward the ad for Red Shoes & the Seven Dwarfs, in which Moretz voices the main character.

Moretz took to Twitter to voice her opinion of the poster.

"I have now fully reviewed the mkting for Red Shoes, I am just as appalled and angry as everyone else," Moretz wrote on Twitter. "This wasn't approved by me or my team."

The movie is a Snow White parody in which the princess "doesn't fit into the celebrity world of Princesses - or their dress size," according to a description on the production company's website. A special pair of red shoes allows the princess to walk around in a body that is slimmer than her natural figure.

There was a trailer released for the movie, that has now been deleted.
