Whole Foods Is Lowering Their Prices!

If you shop at Whole Foods, one thing we all can agree on is that their prices are ridiculous.

Well I have some great news that just might make your whole day!

WHOLE FOODS IS LOWERING THEIR PRICES STARTING ON MONDAY, August 28th!!

The prices are going down because Whole Foods was acquired by Amazon and that partnership means lower prices immediately.

Both companies released a statement:

"Starting Monday, Whole Foods Market will offer lower prices on a selection of best-selling staples across its stores, with much more to come. Customers will enjoy lower prices on products like Whole Trade bananas, organic avocados, organic large brown eggs, organic responsibly-farmed salmon and tilapia, organic baby kale and baby lettuce, animal-welfare-rated 85% lean ground beef, creamy and crunchy almond butter, organic Gala and Fuji apples, organic rotisserie chicken, 365 Everyday Value organic butter, and much more."

There will be more changes rolling out over time.

First off, if you have an Amazon Prime membership, you'll get special discounts and other perks.

Whole Foods will be treating Prime like a customer rewards program.

Second of all, if you prefer to get your groceries delivered, you can get Whole Foods private label products, like its 365 line, through AmazonFresh, Prime Pantry, and Prime Now.

Third, you'll be able to pick up Amazon packages through their locker systems at Whole Foods markets.

It's unclear exactly how much prices will lower, or when the other changes will start.
