Amazon Is Ending Whole Foods’ Loyalty Program Soon!

If you have any unused rewards or coupons saved through your Whole Foods loyalty account, use them soon!

According to an email Whole Foods sent out to members, starting May 1st, you won't be able to apply them to purchases at any of the market outposts!

Then on May 2nd, the program will be shut down for good.

The loyalty program has only been around for about a year, but Whole Foods is trying a different way to issue discounts.

Moving forward, discounts will only be a perk to Amazon Prime members.

It hasn't been announced yet what the new rewards program will entail.

However on Whole Foods website there is a page titled "Change Is Coming" and says they are "cooking up something good with Amazon."

This is the latest in the Whole Foods-related Prime benefits that have happened since Amazon acquired the market, including free two-hour shipping of groceries and the sale of certain Whole Foods products through Prime Pantry.

What do you think of these changes?
