Randy's Donut Gets Rams Makeover In Time For Super Bowl LIII

Randy's Donut's iconic sign gets makeover for Super Bowl

The iconic giant donut seen in dozens of TV shows and movies is getting a makeover just in time for Super Bowl LIII. The donut that welcomes travelers landing at Los Angeles International Airport is getting a brand new Rams-themed paint job that is sure to catch anyone's eye.

The giant donut which has made appearances in movies like Iron Man 2, Arrested Development, and Get Shorty, has been painted Rams gold as the team prepares to face the New England Patriots in Atlanta on Sunday.

The doughnut shop's building has also been painted in brilliant Rams blue, with the Rams logo added next to the Randy's Donut mascot.

The makeover was done in partnership with Nike, who also added a swoosh next to the Rams logo. This also marks the first time the iconic donut has received a new paint scheme since the shop opened in the 1950s.

Sunday's appearance by the Rams marks their first championship run since 2001, when they also faced the Patriots in the Super Bowl. If the Rams win, it will be the franchise's first championship since 2000.

The game airs this Sunday on CBS.
