Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Son Archie Is Already A ‘Social Butterfly’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked royal watchers when they announced they'd be skipping Queen Elizabeth's annual Christmas celebrations at her Sandringham estate. Instead of participating in the yearly walk from the Sandringham estate to Saint Mary Magdalene Church for the Christmas service like they did the last two years, the Sussexes opted to spend the holidays abroad with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, and their 8-month-old son Archie.

Despite some backlash from the British public, as well as whispers their decision "disappointed" members of the royal family, Meghan and Harry are reportedly enjoying their time away in Canada. It's a super special time for them, as well, because it was Archie's first Christmas. Their young son is already quite the social butterfly, according to an Us Weekly source.

“You can tell Archie’s going to be a confident social butterfly,” the source revealed. “He loves being entertained and interacting with people. Some children get shy or nervous around new people, but not Archie. He’ll go to anyone without kicking up a fuss!”

Archie got a bunch of presents too, however, he didn't receive anything too extravagant from his royal parents. “Archie is Meghan and Harry’s world, and they can’t help [but spoil him],” the source continued. “For Christmas, they bought him books, building blocks, a baby ball pit. …It’s not all about extravagant gifts for them.”

It sounds like Meghan and Harry enjoyed their holiday. Not as much as little Archie, though, with his new ball pit.
