The New Season Of 'American Horror Story' Will Be Called 'Cult'

The creator of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, announced on Thursday night that the next installment of the series will be called "Cult."

No one is really sure what "cult" means, but Murphy has previously teased that the season will somehow be about the 2016 election.

Back in February, he told Andy Cohen that although they didn't yet have a title, "the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through."

The seventh season of the FX show is set to premiere on September 5th.
