The "Riverdale" Creator Says The Rest Of Season 2 Will Be Less About Murder

In the last season-and-a-half of Riverdale there has been A LOT of suspense such as, shootings, arsons, stalking, and serpents.

Archie and the whole gang will be returning January 17th and according to creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the coming episodes will be much more chill.

He told Entertainment Weekly, "The second half of season 2 gets back to a little bit of Riverdale basics, which is focused on stories at the school, kind of getting back in deep on the relationships and the friendships."

Don't worry, though, there will still be that creepy element of Riverdale we all know and love.

He continued, "There’s still going to be a pulpy noir crime element to the second half, but there will be a resurgence of high school hijinks, and getting back to the roots of what Archie’s all about, which is the kids and the school."
