There was a rumor that surfaced a couple weeks ago that the upcoming eighth season of FX’s hit horror series would be titled “American Horror Story: Radioactive.“
Keep in mind that this is a rumor that Ryan Murphy refrained from confirming or denying.
The rumor stemmed from Twentieth Century Fox recently filing a trademark for that very title.
What we do know for sure, as confirmed by Ryan Murphy, is that Season 8 will be set in the near future and a new rumor this week reveals more potential details about the story.
As reported by AHS Central, the rumor is that “AHS: Radioactive” takes place in Arizona in 2032, after a nuclear blast.
The rumor also suggests that Dylan McDermott, Denis O’Hare, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Grossman and Eddie Cibran will star alongside already confirmed stars Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates.
Also, Ryan Murphy confirms Jessica Lange is returning!
Coming from a source whose husband is working on the show’s marketing noted, "the season is centered around a group of survivors who went unaffected by it.”
I guess we will have to just wait and see what actually happens!
