Shake Shack Is Testing Out Veggie Burgers!

Shake Shack doesn't really have many vegetarian options except for their "shroom burger," which is deep fried.

Well now Shake Shack is going to start rolling out veggie burgers called Veggie Shacks later this month.

This brand new vegetarian burger will feature a vegan patty created with black beans, brown rice and roasted beets to be topped with provolone cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, vegan mustard mayo and served on a potato roll.

The Veggie Shack will also be available in a lettuce wrap or in a gluten free bun. T

The Veggie Shack will be available starting Thursday April 19th at select Shacks in Los Angeles (WeHo and Glendale), New York City (Midtown east, Upper East Side, Astor Place), and Austin (The Domain) will be testing a new veggie burger.

Through April 23, the Veggie Shack will be an app exclusive, meaning diners can only order the special burger on the Shack App before it officially hits menus on April 24.

A Shake Shack representative confirms that the Veggie Shack is not designed to replace the 'Shroom Burger but rather to serve as an additional lighter veggie option.

Will you order this?
