It's been super hot here in LA and Starbucks is here to save us all this summer!
Starting tomorrow, July 10, Starbuck will roll out two new iced drinks, both of which will be permanent additions to the menu in stores across the country!
The first of the newest additions is Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew.
According to a press release, the beverage consists of cold brew infused with a hint of caramel, and topped with salted cream cold foam.
Joining Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew on the menu is the Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte.
According to Starbucks, the refreshing and syrup and dairy-free drink features vanilla bean coconut milk shaken with ice and topped with shots of espresso.
Starbucks also announced that they are committed to ban single-use plastic straws by 2020.
As the brand begins to eliminate the straws from stores, they'll be replaced with strawless lids and straws made from "alternative materials," such as paper and compostable plastic.
Customers in Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., will be the first to say goodbye to their plastic green straws, with the rest of the world following closely behind.
