Cheesecake Factory just brought back their famous seasonal pumpkin cheesecake!
Even though the cheesecake has been offered at The Cheesecake Factory since 1980, the recipe changes every year.
This is because the pumpkin crop can vary from year to year.
Based on the season's crop, the executive pastry chef, Chris Radovan adjusts the Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe's spice and sugar levels until the "harmonious" blend of flavors is recreated.
Cheesecake Factory offers two types of pumpkin cheesecakes: the original pumpkin cheesecake and the pumpkin pecan cheesecake.
The Pumpkin Cheesecake is a combo of pumpkin pie and cheesecakewith a graham cracker crust and spiced pumpkin filling.
The cheesecake is topped with whipped cream rosettes.
The pumpkin pecan cheesecake is a rich layer of pecan pie topped with pumpkin cheesecake, and finished with buttery caramel and chopped pecans.
Both cheesecakes will be available at The Cheesecake Factory through Thanksgiving!
