Ever since the student athlete admissions scandal, USC is making some changes to the admissions process.
There will now be a three tiered review so you have to have a review from the head coach, the senior sports administrator that oversees the team, and the USC Office of Athletics.
Once that's done that then the USC admissions staff will review you.
After that, the head coach will write a statement saying that the student is being recruited for their athletic abilities.
At the start and again at the end of each academic year, athletic rosters will be audited.
USC said in a statement, "We are determined to take all necessary steps to safeguard the integrity of our admissions process and ensure we conduct ourselves in a manner that is consistent with our values."
This new admissions process will start in the 2019-2020 school year.
What do you think of this new student athlete admissions process ever since the college scandals?
