L.A. City Attorney Is Suing FAA Over Hollywood Burbank Airport Plane Noise

I live in Studio City, and the radio station is in Burbank, so the Hollywood Burbank Airport is my go-to.

Although I'm totally confused by the constant name changes. It was Burbank Glendale Pasadena Airport at once point, then it was Bob Hope Airport, which was changed, since it didn't give any clue as to where the airport is, so now it's been changed to the Hollywood Burbank Airport.

I can't keep up.

Since the airport is in a residential area, it is always in the news because of the noise, and I'd imagine there's some gas or oil that may be dripping on houses and buildings below. The airport has been around since the 30's, so you'd think if you buy a house in the area, you'd know what you're getting into, but what do i know? Well, an official lawsuit has been filed by the LA City against the FAA over the noise.

KTLA5 has more info about the lawsuit, and what they're asking to be changed.
