Join us for a Day of Service on 9/11 Day!

This coming 9/11 day marks the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in America that killed 2,996 people, and injured thousands more.

In partnership with 911day.org, we will be joining hands in a day of service in Los Angeles.  We invite our listeners to sign up and help pack over 3 million meals alongside our radio hosts at LAFD Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center and in conjunction with volunteers across 8 cities.

Today nearly one-third of our nation’s population is under the age of 25, with little or no memories of 9/11. Many parents and teachers find it hard to explain the events of that important but tragic day to younger children.

911day.org, the nonprofit group organizes the 9/11 Day of Service also offers helpful tips on its website.  Get free parent and teachers guides and lesson plans to help teach children about 9/11 in constructive ways.
