Fred the dog hailing from Mountfitchet Castle near Stansted, Essex, is a viral sensation now because he has taken on the role as father to nine adorable orphaned ducklings!
Fred is 10 years old and very gentle with the baby ducks.
The ducks follow the pup around and even ride on Fred's back. The photos and video are just so sweet.
