Ketchup Packets Are Possibly On Their Way Out

More brands are making their products environmentally friendly.

Kraft Heinz now is aiming to make 100% of its packaging recyclable, reusable by 2025.

The company plans to partner with packaging experts to explore soultions.

Heinz also intends to decrease the overall volume of packaging used.

This means say goodbye to ketchup packets, Capri Sun juice pouches and individually wrapped Kraft cheese singles.

The new ketchup packaging will have to balance food safety requirements, shelf life, distribution, cost and appearance.

2025 is still some time away... who knows what Ketchup will come in by then!
