Thankfully, gas prices are staaaaaarting to go back down a tad (dare I say), here in California after a VERY PRICEY MONTH or 2! Prices have been at record breaking highs of 6+dollars a gallon! Even so, that is still CHEAPER than the normal $10 price of a dozen glazed doughnuts are our beloved Krispy Kreme 🙂 Starting TOMORROW, every Wednesday from April 13 through May 4, Krispy Kreme will sell a dozen original glazed doughnuts for the price of a gallon of regular gas. Each week, the chain will use Monday's national average gas price to set the promotional cost for its doughnuts. And according to CNN, AAA put the national average at $4.11 per gallon. THAT MEANS that tomorrow...you can get a dozen original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts for $4.11!! Pretty cool, right? They are always doing these fun promotions...if this is meant to help us feel better about the crazy gas prices...I'm feeling BETTER ALREADY!
