This new app makes it possible to get an alert on your phone if you are near someone with coronavirus.
Here's how it works. The app would track he user's locations through Bluetooth. If someone is using the app and tests positive for the virus, it will track all phones that came within six feet of the user for at least 15 minutes. The app would notify the users, telling them to quarantine and get tested.
This app is currently active in 15 states.
