This Store Is Closing All Of Its Mall Locations
Brookstone is the latest mall store to shut its doors. The store, which has been around since 1965 has announced that it will be closing all of its remaining mall stores over the next few weeks. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this week--its second bankruptcy in the last four years.
In total, Brookstone will be closing 101 mall stores, but plans to continue its website & its airport stores. Whew, that means you can still get that last-minute airplane pillow before you head to your gate. But seriously...It's so sad seeing so many of our favorite stores closing. Sign of the times, I guess.
