For instance, the layout of the store is designed like a maze to make you walk the entire length of the store, back and forth. They want you to hunt for your items so you buy more along the way. Employees work tirelessly before the store opens moving merchandise around.
Also, make sure you really know how to read the price tags...When you see an asterisk and a 97 in the price, it means that the item is being discontinued and it's at its lowest price.
A green sign in the produce department lets you know that the item is organic.
And did you know that you don't have to be a member of Costco to purchase certain items in the store? I did not know that! Customers can purchase pharmacy items & alcohol without a Costco membership.
