Nissan Recalls 215,000 Vehicles Due To Fire Risk

Nissan is recalling more than 215,000 cars and SUVs in the U.S. due to a fire risk.  Nissan says that the risk is from a faulty anti-lock break pump that could leak fluid onto a break board, which could potentially cause a fire.  Vehicles recalled include...

*2015-17 Nissan Murano

*2016 & 2017 Nissan Maxima

*2017 & 2018 Nissan Pathfinder

*Some 2017 Infiniti QX60.

As you can imagine, a car fire can be a pretty dangerous situation. Here are the steps you need to take to protect yourself & to get your vehicle repaired...

-Nissan suggests that instead of parking these vehicles in your garage, park them outside...away from homes & other cars.

-If your anti-lock break warning light goes on for more than 10 seconds, stop driving immediately & get your car to your dealership.

-Repairs are to be done free-of-charge by the dealership starting next month.  You're supposed to be given a loaner car by the dealership until your vehicle is fixed.

Please be safe & share this blog with all Nissan owners you know.
