Mystery Couple In Viral Yosemite Proposal Photo Found!

Mystery Couple In Viral Yosemite Proposal Photo Found!

A couple weekends ago, I posted a blog about a photographer looking for the couple that captured his imagination with their magical proposal at Yosemite (link below).  To refresh your memory...Photographer Matthew Dippel was visiting the national park in California when he saw this magical moment taking place across the canyon.  He captured the photo of the couple's proposal, then took to social media to track the couple down in the hopes of giving them the beautiful photo.  The post went viral & everyone on the internet wanted to know who the couple was.  Well I'm happy to report that he's found them!  Matthew posted the update to Twitter & Instagram, saying...

UPDATE: I FOUND THEM. Everyone meet, @canklebreaker and @helloomelissa the happy happy couple that was out on the point in my Taft Point Proposal. In short, I captured the second proposal, the more special and official one in Charlie’s words. Huge congratulations to you two. I wish I was able to meet you in person and hug you. I’m glad I finally found you to share this special moment with you, thanks for being so awesome, maybe one day we will finally meet in person!

The couple's names are Charlie and Melissa and they currently live in Los Angeles!  Charlie works as an engineering consultant and Melissa is in asset management.  The happy couple plans on getting married in Malibu this April & they'd love to have their new photographer friend, Matthew Dippel, be their wedding photographer.  Lovely story!  See the couple & the gorgeous Yosemite photo of their proposal below...
