Uber Is Now Letting You Earn Money Back On Your Rides!
Uber has announced a first-of-its-kind program that lets San Diego customers earn money back on their rides. The program, called Uber Rewards, aims to give riders a return on what they spend to help their dollars go further.
With Uber Rewards, riders earn points for all the money they spend on Uber and Uber Eats that give them $5 credits, upgrades to nicer cars, access to premium support, as well as flexible cancellations that waive the fee if you rebook within 15 minutes.
San Diego is one of 9 cities across the country trying out this new program. You’ll see the new Rewards bar on the homescreen of your app today if you’re in San Diego, Miami, Denver, Tampa, New York, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta or anywhere in New Jersey.
Btw...Points for scooters and bikes are coming soon. And don't worry, if you're not in San Diego or the other test cities, Uber Rewards will be rolling out to the entire country in the next few months.
