Parenting: Tricks To Get Your Picky Toddlers To Eat
Feeding a picky eater can be hard. Parents of selective eaters worry whether their child is getting enough nutrition. But there are some tricks parents can try to help with mealtime--especially with toddlers.
The key step with a picky toddler is to create a positive eating environment. Resist forcing or coaxing your kids to eat and avoid making separate meals for them. Instead, try adding at least one food your child likes, which will make them more likely to eat less-familiar foods.
Chrissy Tiegen made a menu for her 2 ½-year-old daughter, Luna, to curb her picky habits. It featured meals like Ham & Cheese "Lunables." The "Cravings" cookbook author posted on Twitter Tuesday a laminated menu of meals for Luna to choose from.
