ATTENTION: MySpace Has Deleted All You Stuff!
Uh oh...If you, like me, have been meaning to figure out your old MySpace password so you could log on & delete all those old, embarrassing pics & posts...that content may already be gone.
MySpace announced on Sunday that all content posted before 2016, has probably been deleted. Why? Here's the company's explanation via a statement they released over the weekend...
As a result of a server migration project, any photos, videos and audio files you uploaded more than three years ago may no longer be available on or from Myspace. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I know I should probably be grateful that my embarrassing MySpace stuff may be gone, I'm still a little disappointed because there may be some old pictures on there that I may want. Anyway...Musicians seem to be the MySpace users negatively affected the most by the server migration. Word has it that 12 years worth of music (more than 50 million songs) by 12 million different artists was lost.
