Reservations Open For Star Wars Land Today!
Disneyland will begin accepting reservations today for its $1 billion Star Wars Land, which is expected to attract throngs of visitors when it opens May 31st.
The 14-acre Star Wars:Galaxy's Edge will feature two rides, four eateries, one space-themed cantina and five retail shops. The attraction is being replicated at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, but it will not open there until August 29th.
For the first three weeks after opening at Disneyland, only visitors with reservations will be allowed into the Star Wars Land. Guests staying at the three Disneyland resort hotels between May 31st and June 23rd will automatically receive reservations.
The park will begin accepting no-cost reservations from other visitors beginning at 10 a.m. at https://disneyland.disney.go.com/destinations/disneyland/star-wars-galaxys-edge/. Details on the reservation process are expected to be posted online at 8 a.m. Visitors were urged to create a Disney online account before trying to make a reservation.
After the first three weeks, Disneyland will employ a “virtual queueing” system, in which parkgoers will get a boarding pass and will be called to enter the land when there is enough room, according to park officials.
