Valentine In The Morning Show is on air from 5am-10am. Valentine, Jill and Jon Comouche are the morning show.

Ingrid Michaelson Talks About New Music, The 80's, The Notebook & More!

Ingrid Micahelson is a huge fan of Stranger Things so she decided why not name her album "Stranger Songs," which is coming out in June.

She told Valentine that "there's something about that show that makes her feel very nostalgic considering she grew up in the 80's and makes her feel at home again."

When she decided she was going to make a new album, she wanted to make something that's "not just another Ingrid Micahelson album," but instead she wanted to write music from the perspective of other characters.

For example, her new single "Missing You" is about the Nancy, Steve, Jonathan love triangle in Stranger Things.

The coolest part is that every single track on this upcoming album is about a character or a storyline from the hit Netflix show.

Ingrid said that Netflix was very supportive of this project to the point that they even let her use the official Stranger Things font.

When it came to reminiscing about the 80's, the one thing Ingrid misses is "not having a smartphone and just the freedom of just being a human without this screen."

She mentions that growing up she didn't have a phone or TV in her room so she was trying to look back and think about what she would do back then considering now days she's always on her phone in bed.

Another project Ingrid is working on is doing all of the music for The Notebook The Musical.

When asked if she plans on being in The Musical, Ingrid admits that the music she wrote is a bit challenging to sing and that she can't even hit some of the notes.

However, she said she's open to the idea and if it makes sense musically or casting wise she would do it.
