In December 2018, it was rumored that Friends would leave Netflix starting January 1, 2019, but Netflix quickly put an end to those rumors.
Well the sad day has come because Netflix just announced that "Friends" is officially leaving to be exclusively streamed on WarnerMedia's new streaming service HBO Max.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max will launch in Spring 2020 with "10,000 hours of premium content."
This includes episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Pretty Little Liars, and upcoming series like Batwoman and the Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene.
Since HBO Max is ready for streamers in the Spring, it's safe to assume we only have until January to watch our favorite episodes of what shenanigans Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, and Joey get into.
