The Los Angeles Mansion Prince Painted Purple Is On The Market!

Imagine getting to live in the Los Angeles mansion that is made famous because Prince painted it purple, well now you can! The mansion just hit the market and if you weren't sold on just the fact that Prince lived there, but Elizabeth Taylor lived there decades before as well. It's for sale right now for $29.995 million. When NBA-star Carlos Boozer signed with the Utah Jazz in 2004, he wanted a home in Los Angeles and on top of that, Prince, offered him $95,000 per month for a one-year lease and soon moved in.

It wasn't until a couple of months later when Boozer came back to LA and he realized that Prince changed almost everything about the house. Prince replaced everything to black and purple, he changed the weigh room to a disco dance floor and the bedrooms were turned into a hair salon and massage parlor. Boozer wasn't too happy about this and threatened to sue, but Prince returned everything back to the way it was.

Today, the mansion is on an estate with the house being approximately 15,101 square feet and an English Tudor home of 3,300 square feet, along with two extra parcels of land making up the total compound of 2.15 acres. It has 10 bedrooms, 13 baths, a ballroom, wine room, large terraces for entertaining with views of city and ocean, a rooftop tennis court and a pool with stone grotto.
