The Disneyland Resort may still be closed until Orange County enters the yellow aka the least restrictive tier of the state's reopening plan. However, Disney is still bringing on the magic because they just announced that they will extend Downtown Disney shopping and dining into Buena Vista Street inside California Adventure! If you've been missing the parks, this is the perfect way for you to still experience it safely. Disney recently opened up the Backlot Premiere Shop at Stage 17, which is an extension of the World Of Disney to reduce crowds when shopping for seasonal merchandise. Now, with Buena Vista Street opening soon, you'll get to shop and dine at some of your favorite places inside of California Adventure. You can see the full list of stores and restaurants opening up next month:
- Elias & Co. is the main store on Buena Vista street that will be will be open for shopping perfect with items for the entire family.
- Julius Katz & Sons will sell of the holiday merchandise and Disney-themed home décor.
- Kingswell Camera Shop offers great gift-giving ideas like frames, photo albums and more.
- Trolley Treats will be open for you to grab a quick treat like classic candies, old-fashioned confections and all kinds of freshly made treats.
- Vending carts will offer popcorn, churros, ice cream and other “must-bite” treats.
- Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe will be open for you to grab cup of coffee or an artisan sandwich.
- Carthay Circle Lounge will be open for you to sit down and unwind in the expanded outdoor seating area featuring an all-new menu of cocktails and dining.
- Smokejumpers Grill, which is located near Soarin' Over The World is serving up classics for lunch and dinner like burgers, fries, onion rings and craft beer. The primary way to place your order at this dining location is through mobile order on the Disneyland App.
You'll be able to enter Buena Vista Street through the Downtown Disney District. More details are coming soon for the exact date when this special shopping and dining experiences will open.
