Some Los Angeles Unified School District campuses are ready to welcome back students for the first time in over a year. Starting tomorrow, the district will allow Kindergarten and first-graders to return to school for a few hours. Then, starting the week of April 19th, the remaining elementary schools will reopen. Middle school and high schools will welcome back students during the week of April 26th.
All students that are returning to campus will be required to receive a COVID-19 test followed by weekly COVID tests at school. Students will also have to answer a daily health screening questionnaire prior to entering their school. The district will also provide COVID-19 vaccines to students 16 years and older along with their family members.
