Maya Vorderstrasse is a a mom of a 1-year-old and now 2-week-old who was just tired of seeing motherhood portrayed as perfect and effortless on social media.
She never felt like it was easy so she took matters into her own hands through the use of a letter board.
She started the messages around the 27-week mark and was brutally, yet hilariously honest about what she was feeling from week to week.
She said, “I just try to translate my symptoms into words, but in my brain everything comes together in a funny way, because I’d rather laugh at my own misery than cry about it.”
Well now that her younger child has been born, Maya has transitioned from being pregnant into more new mom content.
