Being a part of the royal family comes with a ton of rules that must be followed. Meghan Markle, being from the United States, has had to learn all of the protocols quickly.
According to royal etiquette expert Myka Meier, "there's allegedly a daytime diamond ban. Meaning royals can't break out their fanciest jewelry before 6 PM."
The royal rule was put into place as to not seem too flashy in public, however, you will catch the royal ladies wearing pearls, sapphires, gemstone, and metallics before 6 PM.
But Meghan Markle on the other hand will wear toned down versions of diamond jewelry.
