The Joker seems to be equally intriguing and concerning. Some theaters are even hiring extra security in order to calm fears about potential violent activity during screenings.

The Century Huntington Beach Theater had canceled all movies after 4:45 pm and customers who purchased tickets for a 10:30 pm showing were turned away. Police have not specify the nature of the threat, however theaters across the country are increasing security following the concerns of threats on social media.
