It's hard to believe Kurt Cobain has been gone for almost 23 years, today would have been the rock star's 50th birthday. In his honor, his daughter Frances Bean Cobain penned a short heartfelt message to her late father.
"Today would have been your 50th birthday. You are loved and you are missed. Thank you for giving me the GIFT of life." She signed the note, "Forever your daughter, Frances Bean Cobain,"
Frances also posted a screenshot of a text message conversation with her grandmother, Wendy Cobain, thanking her for all she's done. She captioned the post, "Not gonna lie, I cried a little. I love you grams."
Frances was not yet two-years-old when her father passed. She recently became the face of Marc Jacobs 2017 spring/summer campaign.
