Although this year had many challenges, one thing that has remained a constant is music. Many of your favorite artists have delivered new songs and new albums all throughout 2020, and iHeartRadio is revealing the songs that were played the most this year. The data is based on total audience spins and streams across iHeartRadio broadcast radio and digital stations nationwide in 2020.

Taking the top spot at no. 1 is The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," which was truly a track that was everywhere. Whether fans heard it on the radio, have streamed it, used it on TikTok, and/or watched the cinematic music video, there was no hiding from this song (but, why would you want to anyway?!). "Blinding Lights" is from The Weeknd's After Hours album, which was released earlier this year in March, and also included tracks like "In Your Eyes" and "Save Your Tears." The song also topped iHeartRadio's Most-Played Pop Songs list, and The Weeknd himself was this year's top artist.

Behind "Blinding Lights" is Post Malone's "Circles," followed by Harry Styles' "Adore You" and Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now," respectively. Coming in at No. 5 is Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved," with Capaldi also at the No. 7 spot with "Before You Go," after Doja Cat's viral hit "Say So." Maroon 5's "Memories," blackbear's "Hot Girl Bummer" and Dua Lipa's "Break My Heart" round out the top ten most-listened to songs of 2020 on iHeartRadio. See the list below.
