Jimmy Kimmel did a great job as host of the Oscars 2017! But it wasn't an easy gig at the end when the wrong movie was announced for Best Picture.
The next night during Kimmel's talk show, he explains what he was doing during that moment of confusion. He said he was sitting in the audience next to Matt Damon watching the chaos. He said, "The host will go on stage and clear this up... and then I remember, oh I'm the host!"
He said he didn't know what to do until Denzel Washington was yelling him, so of course he listened to his advice!
