The creators of Grey’s Anatomy are making a spin-off about firefighters!
ABC’s president Channing Dungey recently announced the news and confirmed Shonda Rhimes is executive producing, along with Betsy Beers.
Channing said, “No one can interweave the jeopardy firefighters face in the line of duty with the drama in their personal lives quite like Shonda, and Grey’s signature Seattle setting is the perfect backdrop for this exciting spin-off.”
The characters in the spin-off will be introduced in a season 14 episode of Grey's Anatomy, but it’s not yet known if any of the OG Grey’s characters will be featured on the spin-off.
